Please read carefully before filing your report:
If you are reporting an Emergency, call 911 immediately.
- You are about to file an official police report for a crime or incident that occurred within Spokane County, WA (excluding state highways). Select the jurisdiction in which the crime occurred below.
- If you would prefer to file your report over the phone please call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233. Please bear in mind not all reports may be completed online or over the phone. Some reports may require law enforcement response.
- If you are re-directed back to this page after answering the pre-file questions, ensure you are entering your report for the correct agency. Example: your mailing address may say Airway Heights, however you may live in an area that is a Spokane County Sheriff’s response area. Check our Jurisdiction Map if you are unsure.
- Using this online police reporting system allows you to submit a report immediately and print a copy of the police report at no cost. Please make sure to turn off your pop-up blocking software before filing the report.
- See the words: “Your online police report has been submitted” showing that your police report is complete.
- Be given a temporary report case number until your report has been approved.
- Be able to print a copy of the police report to keep for your records.
- All cases filed using the online police reporting system will be reviewed by a Report Technician.
- Upon review, if further investigation of your case is needed, you may be contacted.
- Filing a false police report is a crime under RCW 9A.76.175.
- Fraud Reports: Unfortunately due to the nature of fraud reports (including unauthorized credit card use), we are unable to process these reports online. After the card has been reported stolen online, please take a moment to call Crime Check to report the occurrences of fraud. Please be prepared to provide the time, date, amount, and location of the fraudulent transactions as it will speed up the reporting process.
