Online Crime Check Reports

Many reports are available online and can be completed at a time that is convenient for you. Once your report is completed, it will be checked for accuracy then sent to records, and forwarded on to the law enforcement agency in your jurisdiction. For follow up questions regarding your report, please contact the law enforcement agency directly. Read more about next steps here.
Important – Please Read Before Continuing
This online reporting system cannot be used for:
  • Vehicle collisions
  • Any incident where there is a relationship between the victim and suspect
    (including family members or roommates)
Exception: Custodial Interference can be reported online.
What to do instead:
  • To file a vehicle collision report, visit the Washington State Patrol website.
  • ​For crimes involving a relationship (other than Custodial Interference) call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.

File an Online Crime Check Report:

Before taking the next step please answer these eligibility screening questions:

1. Was there a physical assault? (Hit, Kicked, Punched, etc.) Yes
No

2. Is there any kind of relationship between the victim and the suspect? (even roommates) Yes
No

3. Is this report for custodial interference? Yes
No

4. Was there a weapon involved? (Gun, Knife, Bat, etc.) Yes
No

5. Was there a debit or credit card used without permission? (After being stolen or borrowed) Yes
No

6. Was a vehicle or license plate stolen? (Car, Truck, SUV or any motorized street legal vehicle) Yes
No

7. Was an electric bike or electric scooter stolen? Yes
No

8. I understand that false reporting is a crime, and I may be prosecuted if I knowingly file a false report. RCW 9A.84.040 I Understand
